question - part 2,3

  1. Describe a toy/tɒɪz/ you liked in your childhood
    • You should say
    • What it is
    • When you received it
    • How often you played it
    • And explain how you felt about it

One of my favorite childhood toys was a basketball that I received on my 8th birthday. My parents gave it to me as a birthday gift because I had shown interest in sports, especially basketball, after watching a few games on TV.

After receiving it, I started playing almost every day at the basketball court in our neighborhood. I’d usually spend hours dribbling/ˈdrɪblɪŋ/, practicing my shots/ʃɒt/, or playing with other kids. It quickly became a daily routine for me, and I looked forward to it after school.

Having that basketball made me feel excited and energized. I enjoyed the sense of freedom it gave me, running around and improving my skills. More importantly, it helped me make new friends who also loved the sport. Even now, when I see kids playing basketball, it reminds me of those carefree, happy memories.
