我的朋友Li Lei是一个有特别强个人想法的人。我们是大学时认识的，他是我的室友。我觉得他有些太过于自我，几乎不听从任何人的意见。比如我们曾在一个历史课小组，在小组作业时，老师让我们收集中国历史的一些文学作品，我们其他人商量的意见是最好每一类型都收集一篇著名的文学作品，但他坚持认为我们应该把一种类型的多收集，实际上这与教授的要求明显有偏离，并且他拒绝组员的任何辩论，于是我们小组最终只拿到b的成绩。所以，我觉得他绝对是那种有强烈个人意见并且不轻易改变的人。

I’d like to talk about my friend Li Lei, who I think is someone with very strong opinions. I met him during university because we were roommates, and we worked on several projects together.
Li Lei is the kind of person who rarely listens to others and always sticks firmly to his own ideas. For instance, in a history group project, the professor asked us to collect examples of famous Chinese literary/ˈlɪtərəri/ works. Most of us agreed that it would be better to choose one well-known piece from each category. However, Li Lei insisted that we focus on just one type and collect as many examples as possible. This approach didn’t really meet the teacher’s instructions, but he refused to consider anyone else’s suggestions. As a result, our group only received a B grade.
In my opinion, Li Lei is definitely someone with strong personal views. He’s very determined and doesn’t easily change his mind, even when others disagree with him. This can sometimes be admirable/ˈædmərəb(ə)l/ but also frustrating in a team setting.
