Answer

When did you start using the internet?

Well, I first started using the internet when I was, I believe, around ten years old. It was actually at school where we had a computer lab, and I was absolutely fascinated by the endless information/ˌɪnfəˈmeɪʃ(ə)n/ available/əˈveɪləb(ə)l/ at my fingertips/ˈfɪŋɡətɪp/..

How often do you go online?

I go online quite frequently/ˈfriːkwəntli/—actually, several/ˈsevrəl/ times a day. Whether it's for work/wɜːk/, keeping in touch with friends, or just browsing/ˈbraʊzɪŋ/ for leisure/ˈleʒə(r)/, the internet is something I rely on almost constantly/ˈkɒnstəntli/.

How does the internet influence people?

The internet profoundly/prəˈfaʊndli/ influences people in numerous ways. It has, quite literally/ˈlɪtərəli/, transformed how we communicate/kəˈmjuːnɪkeɪt/, access/ˈækses/ information, and even think. For instance, social media can significantly impact/ˈɪmpækt/ our perceptions and interactions /ˌɪn.təˈræk.ʃən/ with the world. On the other hand, the internet provides an absolutely invaluable/ɪnˈvæljuəb(ə)l/ resource for education and learning. However, it can also lead to information overload/ˌəʊvəˈləʊd/ and reduce face-to-face interactions, which is somewhat concerning.

Do you think you spend too much time online?

Well, to be completely/kəmˈpliːtli/ honest, I do sometimes feel that I spend too much time online. It's just so easy to get absorbed/əbˈzɔːb/ in browsing or social media, and before you know it, hours have passed. I'm trying to be more mindful and allocate/ˈæləkeɪt/ my time more wisely/ˈwaɪzli/, but it's definitely a challenge.

What would you do without the internet?

Without the internet, I think life would be significantly different. I would probably/ˈprɒbəbli/ spend much more time engaging in offline activities like reading books, enjoying nature, or perhaps picking up new hobbies. It might actually be quite refreshing to disconnect/ˌdɪskəˈnekt/ and focus on the immediate/ɪˈmiːdiət/ world around me. However, I'd definitely miss the convenience and instant access to information that the internet provides.
