Answer

1. What is the view/vjuː/ like around the place where you live?

notes

Well, the view around where I live is, um, quite pleasant /ˈplez(ə)nt/, actually. I reside/rɪˈzaɪd/ in a suburban /səˈbɜːbən/ area, so it’s not like, super/ˈsuːpə(r)/ busy or anything. From my window, you can see a stretch /stretʃ/ of greenery /ˈɡriːnəri/, a small park, and beyond that, there are some low-rise /raɪz/ buildings that, you know, kind of frame the skyline /ˈskaɪlaɪn/. It’s especially beautiful at sunset /ˈsʌnset/, when the sky kind of lights up in shades /ʃeɪd/ of orange and pink. It’s really quite calming /ˈkaːmɪŋ/ to look at.

2. Have you seen an unforgettable /ˌʌnfəˈɡetəb(ə)l/ view?

notes

Oh, absolutely. Last year, I had the opportunity to travel to the Swiss /swɪs/ Alps /ælps/, and honestly, the views there were just, you know, breathtaking/ˈbreθteɪkɪŋ/. There was this one spot we hiked to at sunrise, and the way the light hit the snow-capped peaks was simply magical. It’s definitely a view that has, well, stayed with me. I often find myself thinking back to that moment, and it just fills me with a sense/sens/ of awe /ɔː/.

3. Would you take photos when you see a good view?
notes

Yes, I definitely would. I think capturing /ˈkæptʃərɪŋ/ moments is, like, really important because it allows you to, um, keep a tangible /ˈtændʒəb(ə)l/ memory of experiences. Whenever I come across a scenic /ˈsiːnɪk/ view, I do try to take photos—not just to remember it by, but also to share with my friends and family. It’s kind of my way of letting them see the beauty I’m seeing, you know?

4. What is your favourite place? Why?
notes

My favourite place would have to be, um, this little seaside town called Brighton/t->Glottal Stop/. It’s my favorite because, apart from /frɒm/ its stunning /ˈstʌnɪŋ/ beach/biːtʃ/ and vibrant /ˈvaɪbrənt/ market streets, it has this unique charm and laid-back vibe that you don’t really find in bigger cities/ˈsɪtɪz/. Every time I visit, I feel like I can just, you know, relax and take a break from the hustle /ˈhʌs(ə)l/ and bustle /ˈbʌs(ə)l/ of daily life. Plus, the local community/kəˈmjuːnəti/ there is so welcoming /ˈwelkəmɪŋ/ and diverse; it makes every visit memorable/ˈmemərəb(ə)l/.
